You have a baby…in a bar…
10 bonus points if you can tell me what movie that’s from.
{P.S. It’s a near impossible feat to get a 9 week old to look at the camera.}
So when is it appropriate to have a baby at a bar?
When there’s a family fun run and all the beer is outside! {And when the husband’s best friend brews the beer and you get to drink it for free without waiting in line.}
The babe and I celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in style. We both had so much fun- him napping and me hanging with real live adults- gasp!
We started our day with girlfriends and green sangria.
When the girls headed to the bars downtown we went to cheer on our friends running in the annual Beer Run. It’s a 5 mile run through my college campus/neighborhood that starts and ends at a small bar. The 1 mile fun run makes it a family acceptable affair- jogging strollers everywhere!
It was hard being around the excitement of the race without running, but at least we had a bunch of friends to cheer on.
The little man got to meet a bunch of our friends, listen to a live band play Irish music and bask in the sunshine of the unseasonably warm March.
Can’t wait to celebrate again next year, although hopefully we’ll be one of the ones pushing around a jogging stroller.

Ha ha, Sweet Home Alabama — good movie 🙂
Love Sweet Home Alabama! So cute
SWEET HOME ALABAMA! Love that line! I say it all the time, because I’m usually the one with the baby…and kids in a bar. Yep, I’m a classy act. Glad you got out to enjoy the green good times. It’s so important to get out and be around grown ups.
haha sweet home alabama, i love that part – just the way she says it haha
