Another week has flown by, and with all the Thanksgiving & Christmas talk, it’s hard to even think about being pregnant.
So far the 3rd tri is treating me better than the rest. I’m minimally uncomfortable, and morning sickness has finally decided to be true to it’s name and only plagues me in the morning.
What Baby’s Up To
Baby’s building lots of bones and growing a big ol’ brain! {We hope. } Between now and birth, baby will double or triple weight.
How I’m Changing
Dear uterus, please get off my bladder. Thanks.
When I tell you I have to pee a lot, I mean all.the.time. My bladder is so squished I have to pee as soon as I’m done peeing. A few times I’ve had to ask the husband if I really did just go to the bathroom or if I made it up in my head.
Still no word on the glucose test results. Test results are in!! I passed. Whew. 73 on glucose {on a scale of 70-135}, and normal hemoglobin {i.e. iron levels are good} and platelets. The platelets part is really awesome because mine are habitually low.
{Look, my belly grew in a matter of seconds! Just kidding… that’s what happens when you actually stand up straight. }
A run down of other things:
Sleep: We’re not getting along. I’m not uncomfortable sleeping, I just can’t seem to do much of it.
Baby movement: Forget kicks, we’ve got a roller on our hands. At the ultrasound the baby was head down {which is good}, but I’m pretty sure he or she has tumbled over and over every which way ever since, so who knows what are hands and what are feet. Or a butt. Or head.
Maternity clothes: Desperately seeking maternity jeans that fit. The number of items in my closet that still fit comfortably is rapidly diminishing.
Classes attended: 2! Breastfeeding.
What I miss: Being able to do the laundry without sitting on the floor. That bending over thing isn’t happening.
Countdown: 11 weeks.
Days til next appointment: 7
Catching up?
That’s a lot of weeks being pregnant…

Yayy for rocking that glucose test!
Love reading these 😉
My baby is a roller too, but likes to punch on my bladder pretty much constantly.
Congrats on passing the dreaded test! I was at 50 and subsequently fainted. Oye.
You look great, as always! Congrats on passing the test- I came in at 76. 😉 I felt most comfortable between weeks 28-34 so enjoy it. I cannot believe you’re still having morning sickness though. So not fair!
I hear ya on the peeing all the time thing – it’s gotten better, thankfully, but sometimes there would be times where if I shifted into a certain position it would feel like my bladder was going to explode.
You look great, by the way!
I hated that test! Glad you passed! Yay! You look great!
You look fantastic! I’m glad you’re feeling okay (minus the bladder stuff).
So I hope that I look as good as you when I eventually get pregnant, because you look great! Congrats on passing the test!
