There’s no rule this blog has to be about food, right?
Because although I am sitting here eating a bowl of hazelnut latte oatmeal, I didn’t take a picture of it and I’m not blogging about the ins and outs of what’s in the bowl.
See, the problem with playing with a new camera is that you take bajillions of pictures. And then you have to download them, look at them, sort through the thousands of bad ones, and attempt to pluck a good one out of the batch.
Only I don’t really call that a problem. Just time consuming. And a new obsession.:)
(I promise this won’t turn into a photography blog, but humor me while I play with my much awaited toy.)
On my way home from the Carrabba’s event yesterday, I passed a beautiful sight: Childress Vineyards. My all time favorite vineyard.
I know having a “favorite vineyard” sounds kind of strange, but I solely blame this place on my high standards for judging wineries.
Actually, I blame this place on my love of wine, period.
So naturally when I drove by, I pulled over for a mini photo shoot.
(Although I was tempted, I did not have a private wine tasting party.)
Wine: it’s not just for drinking. It’s for collecting bottles too. (Ok, it’s just for drinking. ;))
Wait. Childress, you have a Malbec? Why haven’t I tried this? Malbec is my favorite red!
I could get lost here. This is, by far, the most gorgeous property I’ve ever been on.
Have you ever toured a vineyard? What did you think?
