Although I’m still feeling the sting of my decision not to participate in next week’s triathlon, it wasn’t anything a little trip to the Farmer’s Market could ease 🙂

(How could such beautiful flowers not make you smile?!)

My trip to the Curb Market a few weeks ago was such a huge disappointment, that I decided to head out a bit further and go to the big farmer’s market.

It was worth it!

Flowers & veggies galore!

Some of the farmers have spaces indoors & are there year-round (I think).

Do you see those price signs?! .99/lb?!

barrels of squash

One vendor even had grains in bulk!

And all kinds of dried beans & peas. (Every time I try to type “beans & peas” it comes out “peans”…I’m just going to go with peans from now on.)

Can you believe I got this stash of loot for 10 bucks?! Amazing.

loads of veggies

I had to stop myself from buying everything in sight, but I did come home with green beans, okra, zucchini, flower squash, eggplant, & peaches.

I love love love fresh peaches. Driving down the highway on the way to the beach & stopping to get peaches is one of my most favorite things ever.

I really hope we pass some on our way to the beach this year 🙂
