As much as I love letting people with fancy job titles whip up a cup of frothy coffee goodness with loud, hissing machines I don’t even begin to understand how to operate, I also love a good homemade latte. My wallet loves homemade lattes too.
I haven’t attempted one since kicking cow’s milk to the curb though. This morning I thought I’d give it a try with almond milk.
It’s easy- put milk in sealable container, shake to your heart’s content, then heat in the microwave.
It kinda worked…

Labor Play Day
Like most Americans, I pushed the true meaning of Labor Day aside and observed the holiday in a less historical manner- celebrating the end of summer.
The husband, a friend, and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and hit the golf course.
I don’t have the patience (or the skill) to play, but I drive a mean golf cart.
I might have squealed the brakes once or twice. Oops.
The husband’s actually pretty good. He shot his best round of the season! (If he could be anything in the world, he’d be a golf instructor.)

Ok. There were definitely balls in the water. This is what happens when you answer your cell phone and try to play golf at the same time.
Too bad the cooler weather isn’t around to stay just yet- I can’t wait for jeans & scarves weather.
What’s your favorite sport? Mine is not golf, but I didn’t mind driving the cart. 😉
