Considering in the past week I’ve deleted my memory card twice, lost Internet for 4 days {in the condo specifically chosen for it’s inter-webbing capabilities}, and have a camera that can’t take pictures because the lens is so foggy from the heat & humidity, it seems like the perfect time for this meme to reach me. And, like Theodora says, it’s hard to hide on the internet. So here goes:
A Collection of Links
Most Beautiful
Not the most beautiful in terms of me writing it, but in terms of the response- the comments & emails when I finally fessed up about my feet and attached my face to my blog gave me the support I didn’t know I needed. Imagine the sound of my heart breaking when every one of those comments got deleted in a host switch.
Most Popular
Most of my popular posts tend to be recipes, like Vegan Cinnamon Rolls, Southern Fried Oatmeal, and Crockpot Steel Cut Oats.
But aside from recipes, my response to the Marie Claire blogging article continues to be at the top of the list. Especially surprising since I wasn’t even involved- I just had something to say.
Most Controversial
Frito Lay: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Gee, shocker. A post about a potato chip company on a blog about health and fitness was controversial. But good controversy. The comments really make you think about your food.
Most Helpful
Everyone talks about training for a big race. Rarely does someone mention what goes into recovering from said race; I think it’s just as important as getting ready for it.
Why You Don’t Need a Fancy Camera
I love my dSLR with all my heart, but that doesn’t mean you have to have one to take a decent picture for your blog. The same things that help you take a good picture with a nice camera can help take pictures taken with your point and shoot camera to the next level.
Surprise Success
Ironically written before I owned said fancy camera, the underlying pressure in the blog world to have the next best thing is just ridiculous. Apparently I’m not the only one that feels that way.
