It’s funny how you measure time as a parent. It’s not in days or months or notches on a worn out door frame. It’s measured in moments & milestones. Moments we cherish but are never ready for.
Like this one.
Just last week I wrote he was mobile but not truly crawling. Well he blew that right out if the water and moved right on to pulling up on anything & everything. No sooner did we utter the words “we’ll have to lower the crib soon” did it happen.
I wasn’t ready for this. Cribs mean babies and newborns and infants. Swaddles and pacis and immobile babies.
Standing? That’s for big kids. Toddler beds & twin beds with rails.
Not cribs.
Not yet.

Beautiful photos! I can’t wait to see how my perspective changes when I have kiddos
Gosh he’s adorable!
It’s truly amazing how fast time goes. There is a little baby at my son’s daycare. This is around when CJ started last year and he was a little tiny peanut. I can’t believe a whole year has gone by and he’s now in the toddler room. Where does time go?!?
I am impressed he can do that in his sleepsack! So talented! !
Gorgeous photos of him! Those eyes are adorable. He’s such a strong boy
